How to use the map
How to perform a search by location
The map has a search box for you to enter a location. On pressing the submit button that map will attempt to find that location and display any practices in or around that area.
There are three types of locations that that the map can use for searching :
- Searching by full postcode (e.g. NW1 7NL)
- Searching by postcode district (e.g. NW1)
- Searching by the name of a location (e.g. such as a town or area of the country)
If you want to find therapy centres near a specific postcode then you can enter than postcode into the search box. You'll need to enter the full postcode.
E.g. NW1 7NL
- When you enter a full post code the map will navigate to that region and a yellow marker
will be placed at that
location.
- If there are therapy centres in the area near by then there will be therapy centre
markers on the map.
If you want to find therapy centres in or around a specific postcode district simply enter in the partial postcode into the search box.
E.g. NW1, WC2, or BT are valid, but N, NW are not invalid.
A valid entry is the first part of your postcode.
E.g. If your postcode is NW1 7NL then you can enter NW1, but not NW or N.
- When you enter the postcode district in the search box the map will navigate to that area.
- If there are therapy centres in the area nearby then there will be therapy centre
markers on the map.
If you wish to look for a specific location like a city (e.g. London) or a region of the country (Scotland) or even a district within a city (e.g. Camden), you can enter this in the search box.
If the map matches your search with a single match then it will navigate to that region in the map.
E.g. try Camden or LondonIf the map matches your search with several locations it will display each of these locations on the map. Denoted by a
